For years, Hapco has pushed for financial aid to help landlords pay for city- and state-mandated laws. Now, after the recently-approved City Council Lead Testing Bill, Hapco’s pleas have been heard. A new $400,000 grant will help small rental and investment property owners pay to comply with lead remediation and other laws.

Hapco 1st Vice President Victor Pinckney says, “Hapco’s been lobbying at the city and state level for some time for help in paying for these unfunded mandates. We’re happy they heard our request to help us preserve safe and affordable housing in Philadelphia by offering this loan program.
